HM3 Corpsman Maxton Soviak
While helping protect and evacuate innocent civilians at Abbey Gate in Kabul, he remained at his post despite the growing threat of attack around him. Maxton was one of 13 American service members killed in the bombing, giving his life while serving others and standing in defense of those who could not protect themselves. His sacrifice represents the unwavering commitment, bravery, and sense of duty carried by America’s service men and women.
